Watched the pilot of this new series this morning. It's similar to "Criminal Minds" with a hugh psychological component.

As usual Kevin plays the tortured character well. An ex-FBI agent called back into service when the murderer he had captured escapes prison.

I was thinking, "ok, another Fugitive type show", but not so. It should prove to be thrilling if you like that genre and they keep the gore to a minimum.

On a personal note, Kevin needs to put on a little weight. He looks almost anorexic. I understand that he and wife, Kyra Sedgwick, are health nuts. She's a tad thin too. jmo.

The kidnapped kid, which was the "surprise" ending. Oh well.

I am going to watch a 4 part interview with Kevin this evening about the show. Again, online at the station's site. CTV here. Don't know where it's showing in the US.

Yeah, the evil guy is more interesting. A great study in psychological cruelty. Some of my favorite Criminal Minds episodes are about that type. The "taunters". It *sort of* scares me, while it fascinates me too! lol

I'm hoping they throw in a romantic twist for Kevin or something like that, to relieve the constant dark side of things. If they don't, I may lose interest.........just because it will be too draining to watch. They need a lighter side, imo.

I don't know whether you watched the pilot or the second episode, so I'll refrain from spoiling the 2nd one. Watched it this morning. OMG!!

This is very well written and directed. I'll let you know what I mean once you've seen the 2nd one.
