I giggled my way through this last night. Though I generally dislike musicals, I have to admit I sang along.

So many "big names"! Bryan Cranston was really the reason I gave it a chance.

I came home from the hospital on the second day after the derecho in June. The power was still off in my house in it was over 90 degrees. I told Hubby I was going to the air-conditioned movies and if the power wasn't on when the movie was over I was going to stay at a casino.

I went to see Rock of Ages. I am the polar opposite of Chaos. I love musicals. This was a hot mess. Julianne Hough killed it for me on all levels. I liked all the 80s music though.

The happy ending was the power was on by the time I got home.

Oh I agree it was a mess, Kathy- horrible "acting" (if you could call it that), but that's what made it funny-at least to me. They weren't characters, they were caricatures.

"Schindler's List" it is not. :lol

I agree totally, chaos. I also don't need to see Julianne Hough in film ever again. I wish Zeta Jones would find a good 40-something role.
