Some new series I've read about.
"Extant" (the word means the opposite of extinct) Halle Berry, Goran Visnjic (He played "Luka" on ER)
An astronaut (Berry) returns home from a year long solo mission in space. She tries to reconnect with her husband and son in their everyday life. Her experiences in space and home lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history.

After spending a year in space, where she lived and conducted strange experiments, astronaut Molly Watts (Halle Berry) tries to resume a normal life with her family consisting of her husband, John, a gifted scientist, and Ethan, their son, a boy like no other. He is not their biological son as Molly is infertile. Ethan was designed by his father as the first prototype of a future line of "Humanichs", "human robots". But the return of Molly will have dramatic consequences for the entire planet and the fate of mankind ...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3155320/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1"Madame Secretary" No synopsis or cast list yet. Tea Leone and Tim Daly. I'm a little confused because I can only find a "tv movie" and the cast is different other than those two stars. Keith Carradine plays the president in the series. (I LOVE him!) and Bebe Neuwirth plays some role. I think maybe press secretary? Not sure. The trailer looks fabulous! Tea Leone has matured as an actress.
"NCIS New Orleans" If you are a fan of NCIS, you may have seen the episode in New Orleans. We wondered if there was going to be a spin-off. Scott Bakula is in this. Good to see him back on tv!
And, as I mentioned before, CSI Cyber, dealing with Cybercrime.
BTW, Extant premiers on July 1st. I think the rest are fall premiers.
