I just found out that my husband, who I just assumed I saw this movie with, NEVER saw THE WAY WE WERE!!!! It was from 1973. We hadn't met yet.

All women of a certain age fell in love with Robert Redford during this film. Well, I hope it's aged well, because we just rented it.

Redford in his white NAVY uniform on the barstool is still gorgeous.
