On Friday night, Hubby and I went to see American Sniper which is the compelling and sad story of Chris Kyle the Navy SEAL who was the most successful American sniper in history. The warrior had many problems adjusting to civilian, family life. Bradley Cooper, who has producer credits on the film, gained a lot of weight to play the role and approximate the real Kyle's physique.

Thumbs up!!!!

Then on Saturday night, we went to see Foxcatcher the story of John DuPont and the wrestling Schultz brothers; Mark and Dave. Wow, something was wrong with this film. The story is compelling but the film is totally flat. No character development, no flashbacks to show where any of the characters came from. People in the Philly environs followed the story on the news and got more emotional content in the news clips.

Thumbs down!!!
