I figured if Anthony Hopkins thought it was worth doing, it would be interesting. And it is! lol Lots of plot layers and woven storylines. Not a series you can jump into mid-stream, you really would need to start at the beginning.

Westworld’s vastness, its sprawl of characters and plot lines, could easily be unwieldy and confusing. But instead it’s rather carefully, thoughtfully crafted—despite a reportedly troubled production. Well, beyond the first episode, anyway. Once the show’s two halves fuse together—the dark Western yarn marrying the pensive, eerie futurist science-fiction—the series becomes something beguiling. It’s beautifully acted and intricately written, frightening and probing and provocative.

Had a chance to watch the season finale last night, and I'm equally baffled and intrigued. I really like the way it keeps me guessing. lol

As far as I know, season 2 won't air until 2018.

There is hope for Westworld, but you’re going to have to stick it out

https://www.theverge.com/2020/3/16/2118 ... aaron-paul

"Unfortunately, this summary (and any summary, really) leaves out a lot by necessity because Westworld is perhaps the most over-plotted show on television, obsessed with nonlinear storytelling, symbology, constant references to literature and philosophy, and regular plot twists or status quo shifts. It would be nice if the third season was a clean break that let viewers ignore it completely because catching up is exhausting. To a certain extent, you can! But as things begin to unfold, you’re probably going to need to open a wiki."

:lol
