I don't know if anyone in here is a Trekkie, but I (we) are. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is freaking fantastic! I am impressed at how they have managed to stay true to TOS episodic format, yet keep it fresh. I'm thoroughly enamored with Melissa Navia who plays Ortegas. Her joy in playing that role shines through. So much so that she seems to be almost jumping out of her seat at the con. Considering she lost her partner in late 2021, she's risen above her grief and is stellar. He was diagnosed with leukemia and died shortly after. If you are a fan, you should read/watch some of the interviews with her.
