We took my dd to see it over the weekend. Went for the 3-D version ( had to pay extra for the special glasses, lol).
Not going to strain your brain with plot, it is "Dances with Wolves- with blue people" as my teenage neighbor described it. The good guys are really, really good and the bad guys are really, really bad, but hey-simple stories can work.
It was a fun way to spend some time! Creative critters, the 3-D really was above and beyond the old red-eye/blue-eye setup. I thought it would be irritating, but I quickly forgot all about the glasses.
Two thumbs up from me.
