Clint Eastwood played an aging Dirty Harry type in a not very good film. Newly widowed and very bigotted Clint lives in a neighborhood which is now populated primarily by Hmong emigrees.
The Hmong supporting cast is primarily composed of nonactors and everything seems a little off.

I cannot recommend this film.

Edit: Simply the movie icon added. No other changes made.

Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I read your post and went of to watch it online. (one day I'll learn).
It is not Clints finest hour that's for sure. A cliche ridden plot and wooden performances.

FF - I'm a cinephile. My son is an aspiring film maker and is currently a Production Assistant on 30 Rock.

I see a lot of films which can be punishing in itself.

Whoa, this movie is tough to watch, it is so not PC and very uncomfortable. That being said, i liked it.

My afterthought on this movie is that it was an inverse Karate Kid plot.

Angry old white guy befriends teenage oriental kid and wont let him fight.
