A short time ago PBS aired a multi-part documentary about children and cancer and the ways they fight for their lives. I'm sure it is available on DVD now. I have never seen anything so moving as this show. There are no pulled punches, but no graphic gore either. It is a straightforward look at how cancer is treated when children have the disease. I promise you will never think the same way about our heathcare again.
