I missed some of it on Sunday, so I watched the first episode On Demand.....then I watched it again! LOL! I'm loving the cinematography & lighting...

But it's hard to resist taking the uncertain plunge. Watching Game of Thrones is like falling into a gorgeous, stained tapestry. This epic, unflinching fantasy noir takes our preconceptions of chivalry, nobility and magic and gets medieval on them.

So...they went ahead and created an original language, "Dothraki" for the show. Image

Don't love any of the characters too much.

I have been watching.  Sean Bean's always been a crush of mine and he looks like $hit, but...  Oh well.

There's quite a few characters to keep up with, and it does feel like we don't know any of them very well yet. I suspect (hope) that'll be half the fun later on.

I don't think Sean looks too darn bad. Could use some soap, maybe.Image

'Game of Thrones' Continues its Ratings Reign
By
TheWrap

On HBO, as in life, it's good to be the king.

The pay cable network's "Game of Thrones, which launched in mid-April, continued its ratings climb on Sunday, scoring its highest ratings to date.

The most recent "Thrones" grabbed 2.6 million viewers during its 9 p.m. broadcast on Sunday. Combined with the show's 11 p.m. encore presentation, the total viewer average was 3.3 million.

By comparison, last week's episode -- itself a series high at the time -- garnered a combined 3.1 million viewers with its broadcast and re-broadcast.

Between various platforms -- broadcast, DVR and HBO on Demand -- "Game of Thrones" has been averaging 8.1 million total viewers.

Yeah... and don't let the characters get too attached to their heads. I watched this on-line a couple weeks ago - my kind of television.

I should download the book and start reading it.

You're several weeks ahead, Sid?   We have one more episode left, right?

'Game of Thrones' season 2 premiere recap: 'The North Remembers.' But do you?

The whole thing is a fun read-spoiler alert if you haven't watched the season premiere yet- but I think this sums it up:

So there you have it -- sex, blood, infanticide, incest, rebellion, poison and great big wolves. Man, I missed this show, didn't you?

I watched 4 episodes of Game of Thrones yesterday.  This season looks awesome.

My niece read the books years ago and her daughter is 14.  She said the show is grittier than the books.  It's definitely not for the faint of stomach (or really for 14 year olds either).

I missed it, too, Chaos.

Spoiler alert....but verrry funny footage!

"Game Of Thrones" shocked viewers with its "Red Wedding" episode last night.

Don't just take our word for it, watch the compilation of viewer reactions to Season 3, Episode 9, titled "The Rains of Castamere" for yourself.

This show is great. I don't know how they could top the Red Wedding in the season finale.

Cattleman has to catch up.

Jason lectured me that he bought me the books; I should READ them this summer.

I stated that I thought the winners looked obvious. Jason said that GR Martin didn't write the ending yet, but he told HBO the ending in case he dies before he writes it.

I think we are in for a long ride. LOL!!!!
