glitterypickles wins the non-existent prize for making the first suggestion ~ ~ pic suggested that the welcome thread can be made a "sticky thread", which will keep it at the top of the list in General ~ for now, because there is a terrific search function here, I added "welcome" as a search tag so the thread will be easily findable ~ and that also allows the newest threads to take the higher list positions ~ but we may consider changing this in the future ~
