for some reason, when i google search, it redirects me to AVG. How do i fix this

More info needed.
Do you have the AVG bar installed? Ran our favorite malware detectors?
What search words used?
What Browser?
Pull up the Google page and search from there. Still redirected?

i dont see that i have avg installed
i ran spybot
doesnt matter what i seach it always redirects

i do call up the google page on each search, my google button disappeared sometime ago, redirected.

I fixed it. when i did a tune up , i had avg tool bar installed when i removed it the problem stopped. thanks jab.

Lots of programs now include their own favorite tool bar as a default ~ I too learned the hard way ~ now I carefully read each screen during a download ~

During installation! That's where they squeeze in these crappy bars.
Which hog resources, clutter up the browser and cause problems.

yeah i hate when they do that. I am careful of them too, must of missed this one. And then could not figure it out since usually you can see the tool bar. this one was invisible
