Im being attacked by pop ups from servads. Malware doesnt seem to remove it.
I looked it up online and while they knew the problem, the solution had about a hundred steps and my head exploded. There has to be a easier way to get rid of this. Cant i just block servads?>

Help me please :\'(

Internet Explorer, Firefox or what?
Win 7, 8, vista, xp, 98, 95, 3.1 or what? :angel

Edit: Looks like malwarebytes (update first) and the Avast cleaner ASWMBR.exe http://public.avast.com/~gmerek/aswMBR.exe is all you need.

when i clicked your link for avast , I got a warning that its untrustworthy and unsafe and Norton deleted it.

Now I remember why I ditched programs like McAfee and Symantec's Norton more than a decade ago and never looked back!
Do a full scan with malwarebytes overnight. Spybot might be a good choice too

BEP, when Norton comes up for renewal ... DON'T ~ there are MUCH better programs out there now that work better and use far less resources ~ including the free version of Avast ~ but be sure you let us know when renewal is approaching because Norton hides things and removing it is a beast ~ we have a thread that I'll look for where Jab explains it all ~

When you're ready to uninstall Norton, a good, free program to do it is http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html.

You will have to jump through a few hoops.
Try the instructions at http://www.pchelpforum.com/xf/threads/p ... ps.135601/

Seems to be the quickest and easiest method.
