Just wanted to thank you for the Bleeping Computer link you gave me a while back. I did a stupid download tonight and it installed a stupid toolbar

I *thought* I had de-selected that option with my download. I DID, I swear.

Anyway, I found a fix at Bleeping Computer that worked like a charm.

I just went to the forums and searched for the program I wanted deleted.

Just to give more details in case anyone has this problem:

The tool bar that I accidently installed was called "VisualBee". It has tons of crap with it.

The tiny program I used to delete it is Adwr. (I think, lol) It took about 10 seconds to d/l and another 30 to delete the tool bar with associated crap!

Another plus is that the instruction at Bleeping Computer we very detailed. The Adwr uses a tool bar itself, but they gave detailed instructions on how to de-select that, along with other part I didn't need, like IE etc.

I think I'm in love. With jab, of course lol, and Bleeping Computer.

You can even search for an error code if you're getting something strange and you'll usually find a fix.
