Hubby discovered that our tablet can be used as a controller for our TV and it's PVR! He created an account and we will see how well it works.

The only reason he even researched that is because the premiers of MOST of our favorite shows will air while we are away. If we record them, we can watch when we get back.

I'm proud of him. We are so dang S L O W with the new technology, that it makes us feel really old sometimes. We will probably get caught up with the technology of today in a few years, when it's obsolete.

When my cellphone got smart I set up that remote on it for my TV. I haven't used it as a remote since then. Some of that super duper tech just doesn't make much sense for everyone.
I refuse to record US TV. I'll download the few interesting shows via torrent and watch them WITHOUT COMMERCIALS!

I download all my viewing from YouTube and Daily Motion.

What's a TV?

lol oskar. A TV is what hubby watches while I watch shows online.

BTW, it worked perfectly! We were able to program it to record all along our route when shows became available in the lineup.
