This keeps installing with my updates, but I've never used it. Is it safe? Do I really need to use it? I hate that it automatically starts scanning after an update. :angry I don't get a choice, which makes me suspicious, lol. Thanks in advance.

I think I have it also. But I think you can adjust settings. I'll check my setup tonight

You can adjust settings ~ driver booster was "delivered" to me as a separate scan function from the regular scan ~ I deleted that separate function since it is easily available under the "toolbox" icon in the scan ~ while I popped for the "pro" version of ASC, I use the "free" version of driver booster ~

So, I think I may have the separate entity AND the one from the toolbox, lmao. Regardless, I sort of decided to use it....iow, it started automatically and updated everything. That's frustrating. Can't tell if it did any good, but it didn't do any harm that I can tell.

roseanne, it may have/likely just updated itself ~ if you delete the "separate" function, you will need to click on "scan" when using the function in the toolbox ~ it does a great job of keeping drivers updated, but it is verrrrry s-l-o-w while the driver updating is happening ~
