Then .................

Create a Playlist

Keep adding till you're happy. (You can make more playlists later if you want).

I will follow these directions to the letter ~ BUT how does it get on my profile if I'm posting it in the group [step 7, where you say to click new topic or reply]? ~ can more tracks be added later, or will I need to create another playlist? ~ YOU ARE THE BEST, FF ~ thank you ~ Image

To put your playlist onto your profile just follow the same steps.
On your profile: Click the "edit" tab on your "Music that I Listen To" section.
Then just treat it as you would a post on here.

If you update your list on mixpod it will automatically be updated on your profile, or anywhere else you previously posted it.

Each new playlist generates it's own unique code and has to be posted separately.
(for example: If you check my profile you will see I have two playlists, one loud and one quiet).

FF, is there any way to keep the music playing while I'm reading/posting in VoC?

Okay ~ the music is playing while I'm typing this post ~ so obviously the answer is YES, we can having our choice of music playing while we are reading/posting in the group ~ VERY COOL ~ I LOVE THAT ~ but WHAT THE HELL is that picture that comes up? ~ please tell me that IS changeable ~ Image

I assume you mean the pic on the Satchmo track ............

Wonderful World must be on some soundtrack thingie and that's the sleeve.
Just search for another version if it bugs you and then delete that one from your list.

Thanks ~ I will look for a different track because that's just c r e e p y to me ~ especially on a track for "What a Wonderful World" ~ Image

MixPod is pretty cool ~ thanks for sharing the link ~ and for talking me thru adding it to my profile ~

If you post your playlist on here, I'll remove the coding that does this -> Image for you.

Then you can copy the cleaned up code and paste that onto your profile.

Imo it just looks a lot tidier without the chaff.

Ermmm. In your PROFILE maybe. lol Image

Go to the "edit" tab again.
When the box opens up, click the HTML icon and copy the code.

Then post it on here, the same method you used to put it on your profile.
I'll then edit your post, fix the code and slink off into the night.

You then copy the code I've edited into your profile.

It actually sounds much more complex than it is.

I set up a playlist at mixpod and tried to put it on my profile but the skin isn't showing, just "get tracks" (I knocked out the "myspace" and "playlist" at the bottom of the code). What did I do wrong?

I chose from MixPod's available music, which is extensive ~ and free ~ but I don't know if you can add from other sources ~ maybe FF can answer that definitively when he returns ~ and maybe Del can help with set-up if you choose to use other sources ~

Sid, If you have your tracks/videos stored on a server, (or you know the address of where they are stored elsewhere), you can add them to you Mixpod playlist using the "Add URL" option, which is located next to "Search Music."

You can't load directly from your pc to Mixpod.
