Everything seems to be good.......and faster!! My grandson thanks you too, because we are going to video chat today for this birthday. I had canceled that because I didn't want to spread my problem to their computer. Again, thanks. Your time is valuable and I appreciate that you spent the time helping me. Hope you slept well. I tossed and turned, dreaming about rootkits, host service and all sorts of geeky things roflmao! Instead of visions of sugarplums, I had visions of binary codes.Image

I love Firefox so far. Gotta get used to navigating it, but my first "like" is the fact that when I delete something from my favorites it doesn't ask me "are you sure?" I hate that.

roseanne, we are exceptionally lucky to have Jab, Sid, and [when he returns] FeatheredFish as our personal on-call geeks ~ they are extremely generous with their time, knowledge, experience, and talents ~ and, maybe best of all, they are stubborn until they find a fix for the problem ~

Stubborn, yep. Can't let one of those pimple-faced script kiddies with their malware get one over on you. Image

Roseanne, I'll be gone for most of the day until about 6pm EST but maybe we still can check one more time the registry if all those corrupted lines are gone.

Thanks jab, but this evening is a little busy for me. Video chatting with grandson, decorating the tree, laundry and all the stuff I need to do before work tomorrow.
Maybe one evening this week.Image
