Here is the question. There is a Neil Young video Prarie Wind that I love. But there is apparently no soundtrack that is to be found. Can i copy the sound from the dvd and make a cd of it?

It will help is you use a John Wayne impersonation and a sock puppet when you try to explain it to me

My John Wayne isn't very good, but here goes: I used VLC Media Player to record the portion of the DVD I want the audio from to the hard drive. I then use AoA Audio Extractor to extract the audio from the MP4 (AV file) and save it as an .mp3. From there, Nero automatically converts .mp3's to the format required for a CD (.cda) when you go to burn the disc.

VLC Media Player & AoA Audio Extractor are free downloads.
