An Aussie friend of mine asked me about this. I'd never heard of it, but I figured I'd run it past the gurus here. Supposed to be all kinds of bells and whistles wonderful.

I'll pass along any feedback. Thanks!

(edit for typo)

There are plenty of free and great AV programs out there. I never heard or read about vipre.

Thanks, Mac & Jab. I'd already told him about Avast, and that we've had good results with it. ( Though I'm not as fond of the last update. Why one click to look for problems and another click to correct them? lol)

I adored the Jetsons when I was a kid. (Back in the old days when cartoons were only on for a few hours every Saturday morning.)

You mean back in the day when cartoons were entertainment and not half-hour long commercials for junk toys or junk food? - those days?

Yeah, me too. Rosie! What an attitude. lol  Think of the things in the cartoon that are now a reality like the video phone. I'm still waiting for flying cars.

LOL jab. My brother actually built a model "aerial car" in the 60's for a Popular Mechanics contest. It had a tube in the back and you could blow through it to lift the car with holes in the bottom.  It was made of balsa wood, so it was very light weight. It would go only about 3 feet, because if the tube were any longer, you couldn't blow hard enough, lol.  I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I think he got an honorable mention for his design.
