Anyone have an Iphone 4? I admit that I am rapidly being left behind in the technology arena and getting old, so it takes a little longer to "catch on" to new techy stuff.

I understand that the facetime feature of the Iphone 4 is WiFi. What I don't understand is if one must have a dedicated WiFi account/connection to use it. The one and only reason we are considering getting it, other than for a phone, is for the facetime. I really don't have much interest in all the other features, lol.  I'm thinking that when the Iphone 5 comes out, our cell provider will offer the 4 at a very cheap price or even free. That's how it has worked with the other ones. Right now they are  already offering it for $99 with a 3 yr contract.
