I had heard about this happening a couple weeks ago and after reading about this I now make sure I do check the label. Grocery wise, I have always checked labels and never purchased anything that was made overseas but until I read about these dog treats I had never paid much attention when it came to treats for our pets. I certainly do now and I'd like to see the United States stop importing any kind of food from China and Japan.

I read the labels and look for place of origin too. If it's not made in America, I don't get it for the dogs.

Make sure to read the fine print too....Waggin'Train says "Proudly Made in the USA" or some such thing, but on the back, in small print..."product of China". They're allowed to say "Made in USA" and use foreign ingredients.
