Funk, the people we elect send our kids off to war. The people we elect allow the tax shelters and excessive profiteering. I can understand greed a lot more than I can understand the people who are supposed to represent us allowing all of this. We have to take our share of the responsibility. Violence is not inevitable over this. All it takes is for us to elect the right people.
