:happydance It was rough, and it took a LOT of tutoring from dad....but kiddo squeaked her way to an A in Algebra (whew!) and that makes straight A's again!

Went to parent-teacher conferences yesterday.

Yeah, I'll admit it-it's music to my ears to hear that they enjoy having my kid in class. That never gets old! Smiles all around. Offers for letters of recommendation to go along with her HS application, though they also said she clearly won't need them. lol :happydance

Algebra teacher comment on her report card: "_______ is often an alternative thinker and does excellent work."

I'm not sure how I managed to miss this thread for the past couple of days ~ :o

CONGRATS to Kiddo! ~ :st :st :st ~ mom and dad have every reason for continuing great pride ~ I know Kiddo can handle the future greater challenges on the horizon ... but can mom and dad? ~ :b

Academic challenges aside, *I'm* excited for her to head to a new school and meet some new people. :)
