LOL. We have the family cat again. First night, no problems. Slept at the foot of the bed until alarm went off. This morning. 3am! The one morning I can sleep late. Sigh.
Now I am

Going to try to feed him his canned food later in the evening. Maybe then he will sleep later. Sheesh. At least it's only a couple of weeks this time.

2am this morning. Wouldn't be so bad if we were retired and could nap every day. At least we can today. Considering locking him in the bathroom tonight.......after removing all breakables, adding the litter box and water.

Poor hubby is struggling anyway. His Dad died yesterday after a few weeks in the hospital. We knew it was coming. Fast growing cancer. So, we haven't been sleeping all that well anyway. Stressed, tired and cranky...ok, bitchy. And today starts the care of the other two critters. It would be a nice distraction IF we had some decent sleep.

Very sorry to hear the news of your father-in-law's passing ~ can't believe my own dad has been gone 29 years now ~ I still miss him and think of him often [especially when I hear something I know would appeal to his warped sense of humor], but the pain of losing him has softened over the years ~
