Now that's an entrance!

We just put together a cat house for the backyard kitty- who still, even after months of steady meals, won't come near me. lol He's been staying behind our garden shed but I noticed him checking out the old playhouse yesterday. (I have all my big planters stashed in there for the winter.) The ground is so soggy I think he just wanted to get his feet dry.

So we situated the little house on top of the planters (up off the ground is warmer) and with the opening away from any direct breezes. I really hope he finds it and uses it. We didn't have any straw, so I improvised with several old pull-ups diapers and some shredded paper.

Meep kitty got right in before we could even get it outside so that's a good sign!
