lmao! Not far from the truth, sadly.

I've seen several sites that show how to pack for a long trip in one carry on bag. Pretty soon, they'll do away with overhead storage and we'll have to check all bags. Then someone will figure out how to pack for a week in a large purse or briefcase. :eyes

Might eventually be cheaper to just buy new stuff when you arrive at your destination..... :b

My AC to Chicago flight was $35 each way. They charged $30 for a carryon and $25 for a checked bag each way. Hubby and I compressed into one checked bag. We noticed the regulars on the flight all had backpacks which did not count as a carryon.

When we got to Chicago we noted that it was $39 apiece to get a shuttle to the hotel. We laughed and said we were not paying more for the shuttle than the flight so we got an $8'a day rental car. We are more rental car people anyway.

You CAN travel relatively Inexpensively on some routes at some times, but you really have to know what you are doing.

I'm thinking I can UPS a bag to my hotel cheaper than the $25 or $30 fee...

I'm not giving up on my idea for projectile luggage delivery. People scoff, but it's the wave of the future.

Layering! Lots and lots of layers. Homeless couture will reign supreme.

And today I read this . The first is bad enough...but the second. :s :

Airbus files patent for bizarre ‘stacked’ passenger seating

According to the application, the standard aircraft cabin design will feature two levels of passengers with a “mezzanine seating area” that would replace the overhead lockers..

I do know a bit about patents.
Since people stacking is prior public knowledge since the days of shipping slaves from Africa to the Americas there is no way that this patent application can be granted.
