...at the Inn in town. Our "sister" site. The man, Jack, who was our relief person ran this Inn, but retired. They thought they had a woman to come in, but she wanted way too much money so they told her to f' off. We came down into town because there was a booking coming in today.

Keep in mind that we know NOTHING about this place. We felt like we were newbies in town, lol. The owner sent down a kid from the restaurant at the ski hill who will be taking over as a "warm body" for the next little bit. We told him that we would spend the night. Besides, the apartment needed cleaning badly. Spent the day cleaning the oven, scrubbing out the fridge and all the cupboards. I'm beat, but can't sleep. Strange bed, strange place and a damn hotel mattress. We JUST got our new comfy mattresses two days ago.

Back to the Chalets tomorrow. Might just take the day off. No arrivals. We'll see.

Maybe all us VoC'ers can come to your resort and occupy it. We'll turn it into a hippy commune.
