I had told our former relief partner, Jack, about my craving for Jif because I knew he had some connections in the restaurant business and thought he could hook me up. Although it can't be bought in stores here any longer, some restaurants carry it in the little single serving packets. Turned out that he couldn't find anything. But, as he was packing up to begin his retirement and move, he found one in his luggage, which he gave to me.

Fast forward to 6:20 am this morning. Jack and his wife, Kim, are on a cross country journey. He texted a picture of a bowl full of Jif single-serving packets and said "Thinking of you"..
Texted back "Grab a boatload and bring them back!"
