...with this current circus of an election. Today I was looking at/reading a slide-show about coffee and the wording made me giggle. It's always been my belief..

3. Coffee dehydrates you
Not true. Why exactly? Well, take a look at your cup of coffee. Notice the watery consistency? You can attribute this characteristic to all the damn water in a cup of coffee. The amount of H2O in a cup makes up for the dehydrating effects of caffeine.

Coffee is an astringent. Caffeine makes your body expel more water than is in the coffee.
