So many bear attacks this year in BC. We had many guests ask if we had bears around here. When I said no, they were like "Ohhh, too bad. We really want to see one in the wild" People do not realize how dangerous they are or how big. They aren't "teddy bears" people!
I'm thankful we didn't have any around.

My cousin runs a fishing lodge up near Flin Flon. He used to advertise evening bear watching trips. People would sign up, pay 20 bucks or so and he would load them into his SUV.....then take them to the local dump. It was always full of bears.

(P.S.: Sooz, it's okay to look at the video. No tv personalities or bears were injured during it's production.)
