Ok, I don't usually pay attention to the media whores, the Kardashians. However, I've seen this ad for a new show with Khloe K. about how she was always the "fat sister". Now she is using overweight women for this show to help them lose weight and shape-up. All to shut down the body shamers, according to the tag line.
Anyone else see the flaw in this?

I mean, to shut down any "shamers", is it really up to the person whom they are shaming to change? Or is it up to society to reject that sort of shaming? It's almost like the shaming is working, right? If so, then it's acceptable to shame people for whatever reason. Even if it's something they can't change, like skin color, sexual orientation, age, disability etc.

Sorry, I know this may seem frivolous, but it bothers me.
