We aren't moving. But I still browse real estate listings all the time, forever on the lookout for a good deal on something with a nice chunk of land for peace and quiet.

Then I check the taxes for all that land and remember I live in NJ. :lol

Exactly. Most are crap/gutted/"value is in the land!" etc., but some foreclosures lately are in really nice shape. All I need now is a wad of spare cash. HAAAAA

No one ever said you had to go it alone. We usually partner with a builder/renovator.
