It's back to bars of soap in our house. Good grief I forgot how much longer they last for far less $ than liquid hand soaps/body washes. No plastic bottles either, just a paper wrapper.

About a year ago I got some stretchy silicone "lids" (covers?) to use instead of plastic wrap. Looooove them. The same roll of wrap I started before I got them is still sitting here, so they've already paid for themselves.

Can we bring back powdered laundry soap in cardboard boxes? :lol

Make your own! I did a search and found several "recipes". Buy a big plastic jug thingy with a lid and a small scoop from the dollar store and viola'.

Since I have to tromp downstairs to the laundry room I find the pods are my go to. Easy to transport. And since I wash in cold water, I don't trust powders to dissolve completely. Our cold water is freezing, lol.
