Mom Decorah and DM2 have decided to use their other nest again this year. No cameras in that location, but reports from the ground seem to indicate that they're happy.

The Decorah *North* nest laid their first egg on 2/16/22. So if you want to watch that nest live this year...

Two bobbleheads in the north nest.

And a mother goose has moved into the Decorah nest. 6 eggs! Going to be one helluva first step.

Babies in the north nest and I think mama goose has 9 eggs close to hatching in the Decorah nest.

It's been interesting watching two different species and how they nest. Unlike the eagles, papa goose doesn't sit on the eggs. Mama covers them up when she steps out for a bite to eat.

One goose egg didn't hatch. One gosling didn't make it after the big jump. One got lost in the brush and had to be carried to mom & dad. But the rest made for a happy little paddling family.

Meanwhile, the 2 eaglets in the north nest are getting big.
