What is your favorite animal?

I like dogs and chimpanzees a lot, but don't want to own one. Overall, I would have to say Bears. Polar, Grizzley, Black, Brown, whatever.

I really can't think of an animal I don't like. ( maybe a few human animals)

I'm always drawn to big cats, tigers in particular.

I love dogs because of their reciprocity. I enjoy watching osprey fish and fly around the 'hood with their catch. It's really cool to watch pelagics swim by underwater- sea turtles, and large rays, because they look so majestic, and grouper because they watch you and follow you.

I couldn't imagine being without a dog.
Dolphins are graceful and intriguing.
But who could ever get angry at a penquin?

I loved my yellow lab, Chewy, so much that I can never imagine getting another one.

I think the big cats are my favorite zoo animals. I also love my pet little cats, Cammy and Buffy.

Thanks gop, I'm still trying to figure out what to have for dinner, and you've just made me even hungrier! Cows are tasty animals.

There are very few animals I don't like. I do enjoy the wild cats (maybe that's why I've taken in that semi-feral goofball in my avatar). Have you ever seen a Pallas cat? They're adorable! They look like large, over-fluffy (extra-mean) housecats. I know someone who breeds them at a zoo who verifies they are definitely not as cuddly as they look (though they've had a few litters bred in captivity that have been, but are purposely trying to avoid over-handling or selecting for tameness, because they want to be able to keep their natural behaviors). http://www.cincinnatizoo.org/animals/ma ... asCat.html

Platypus is pretty neat too, just for being so weird.

You're welcome, Calluna!

I don't like skunks. Image

I love the mini penguins, most no higher than my knee [and I'm not tall] ~ that habitat is always my first stop at Lincoln Park Zoo here ~ but if we're talking "domesticated" animals, I'm a dog lover ~ and yes, MANY cat lovers see that as a personal flaw ~ Image

Of course I love cats and dogs and the wild critters here, and Bird. Of the others I love bats and otters most.

And in an effort at bipartisanship, I too think cows are delicious.

I think the board just reached a bi-partisan agreement with no pork. Image
