I posted this for a couple of reasons. One, it's a great story and two, her take on the "live and let live" attitude that Canadians have. I love the term "belevolent neglect". Sometimes it's to the country's detriment, like when the "lose" some sketchy, newly landed immigrants,Image lol! But, that's not the rule, but rather the exception. All emphasis mine.
