i know three of these five guys. legendary.

i have seen mark and tony perform with david grisman.

edit: so i just looked up when i saw them, and Tony and Mark were not in the lineup at the same time.
so, i must just be remembering Tony from records i bought around that same time.
i saw them with Darol Anger.  Mark was on guitar, and Tony had already left the band.
there was some guy who played with them who played guitar, mandolin, and violin during the show, but i have forgotten his name.  nobody mentioned here.

Mark won the Jr Fiddlers Championship and the next year the all comers Fiddler of the Year, two years later he won the best mandolin player and when he was 19 he won the flatpicking guitarist of the year award. Sam Bush won a Fiddler of the Year, as well, and was voted best mandolin player about five times.
Tony Rice is Tony Rice. That's Clarence White's 1934 Martin D28 that he's playing. Wish that guitar could talk.
