Nice! I LOVE the violin. I wish someone had started me off on one at a young age. I've played one a few times. Nothing but "Twinkle, twinkle", lol when my daughter got to bring one home from school. The local symphony donated them to the school and gave a few free lessons.

The way you can feel the music of the violin while you are playing is exhilarating.

It was years after I'd heard it that I found out who the composer was, so your sarcasm is wasted.

To each his/her own. oskar did say, IMO. All music is subjective.

I'd always thought it had been composed by Philip Glass, an American.

ok, this is hilarious at several levels.

first of all: why did you waste years to find out who the composer is? you could have spent those years writing fan mail.
second: why did you mention he was Canadian? does that matter? you guys have way more than your share of great composers, so why did you feel the need to point this out? does it make your heart beat faster? why should any of the rest of us care? is there extra snow in the music or something?
finally: why did you feel the need to beat me down about my sarcasm, if it was "wasted".

dude. i think there is only one problem here. you are NOT wasted. try smoking some of that BC shit next time.

sheesh.

i never offered my opinion. i am not going to, actually.

i think it is great that someone likes music enough to make this kind of statement. i say stuff like this all the time. without apologies or embarrassment, even.

It was just a little insulting mac, as is your post #8. Why NOT mention that he's Canadian? Does it make you feel better to dis oskar's national pride or ridicule him? I thought you were above this sort of pettiness. Guess not. :(

Maybe you need to step away from the BC shit (or wherever you get yours) so that you can think before you post crap like that.

sheesh

'Bout time we have some 'action' in the music section!

I don't get mad at the people, I get mad at the situation!

i have never insulted you, and rarely insulted anyone else. but i am not above insult roseanne. if that makes you think less of me, then you probably thought too much, and have it about right now. :grin

Truly great art and music transcends boundaries, internal and external.
