Wow! Still nothing like a Broadway musical number. They are great together, though I must admit I like his voice better. She seems a little "nasal" to me. Thanks for sharing.

I adore him. I've seen him in Carousel, The Wild Party and The Robber Bridegroom since I met him.

He's got a tv series called Doubt with Katherine Heigl next year. She's on Season 4 of Masters of Sex.

LOL, your post sent me on one of my internet journeys that can last for days. I went to youtube and watched several videos of famous broadway numbers. Got to enjoy them all over again. :D

I remember the first time I saw/heard this. Surprised that Moranis "Bob McKenzie" could sing and stunned by Ellen Greene's ability to go from the simpering, wispy voiced "Audrey" to such a powerful singer.

The New York City Center did Little Shop last year. They do very short run productions. Wild Party was 4 nights. I think Little Shop was three. It featured 64 year old Ellen Greene and Jake Gyllenhaal. They stood in front of mike stands with scripts. Sold out and she got raves

I love most music, with the exceptions of opera [mainly because I don't understand it] and rap [which I don't think is "music"] ~ I grew up with Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett etc playing at home ~ and I still love listening to any of them ~

I'm generally an "oldies" girl ~ I'm not a big fan of hard rock but LOVE the music from the 60s ~
