I'd like to dedicate this thread to some songs that in my opinion, were performed better live, than in the studio.

My bias may show based on the era of videos posted but in my opinion, most of todays artists are more performers and less pure singers.

Feel free to add your favorite live performances and opinions on the evolution of the music industry when considering this topic. I think this will be fun!

What a GREAT idea, Del ~ I agree that live concerts are far more exciting than recorded music, even if [or maybe especially when] it's not 'perfect' ~ and I also agree that "most of todays artists are more performers and less pure singers" ~ recording studios play the same role that photographic air-brushing/touch-ups do ~ and I find the 'real' much more appealing than the 'ideal' ~
