So, I've been a fan and follower of Gizmo the Wonderdoglet for quite a while now, and recently Gizmo teamed up with a fantastic artist to sell portraits for charity-"Art That Gives".

As part of this project, Dave (the artist) offered to do free (online) drawings for those who sent photos. The original and prints will of course be available, as well as other merchandise on a CafePress page. Mugs, notecards, etc.

Soooo...since I never know what to get hubby for his birthday, I submitted pictures of Logi. We are #7 on the list. :)

Logi isn't done yet, roseanne. He's starting the third ( I think?) dog on the list now. A yellow lab.

Since he usually just leaves a white background, this one will have to be a little different.

Hubby's birthday is in August, there's plenty of time. :)

Ohhh, lmao. I didn't even read the "birthday" part and was thinking "Christmas". :o :lol That's what I get for scanning a post...

I wish you could see the grin on his face every time I show him the progress. He looks like a 5 year old on Christmas morning....LOL!

Wow! Fantastic! Thanks for sharing, Chaos.

We have a pencil drawing of a wolf's head done by someone who was a regular at the old MSN chat rooms. She did it for my hubby. The first year we were together, I had it framed for him and it hangs with honor on our wall. It is signed with her nic, lol, so I have no idea who she really is and he can't remember (so he says... :b ), but it's just as detailed. Who knows? She may be famous now. lol

Couldn't talk my mom into a mug or t-shirt...but she did say she'd use a mouse pad.

I'm getting a Gizmo mug too. I adore Gizmo.

I think the ornament is pretty cool too. I'd be tempted to buy one of everything, lol.

We won the auction for the original with the *only* bid! Yay!

It arrived yesterday, and let me just say no print or picture on the internet does it justice! WOW! I promised Dave a picture of Logi with his portrait for the portfolio, so pupper has a date with a brush this morning. lol

I know, we're easily amused. But this is really cool. :happydance
