Super simple (has to be, it is the only thing my husband can cook)

BACHELOR ROAST

1 roast (like most crockpots, the cheaper the cut the better it works in the crockpot)
1 bottle catsup (is a small roast, a standard size - for a larger roast, get the larger size)
1 can dark soda (coke, pepsi, root beer, Dr, Pepper, etc......diet is fine too)
1-2 lbs baby carrots (depends on how much you like cooked carrots
Onions cut into rings (thin or thick -whatever you prefer)

Cover, cook on low 8-10 hours

Meat can be cut or shredded.

I often serve it over rice


No bachelors were harmed in the making of this sort of sweet BBQ roast (not quite like BBQ, but that is the closest thing I can compare it to). I really hate cooked carrots, but these I will eat anytime.

A whole bottle of ketchup (has nothing to do with cats)?
