I bet I'd love that! The one time I've had lobster it was
, but it was at Red Lobster years ago. Rubbery and tasteless.
As a child, I had tons of fresh seafood when my Grandpa ran a state pier in Gulf Shores, AL. The charter boats would come in with a good haul and he was either given or would buy all sorts of things. He also lived in the back of, and ran, a diner there, so it was always fun to taste the catch of the day. Flounder. Snapper. Tuna. Crab. Yummm. Delicious sea catfish. So much better than freshwater! He, my Dad and brothers would turn on the pier lights at night and fish for them right along the shoreline. You could see hundreds in the water along with dozens of stingrays
.
This was back in the day that there were NO resorts/condos or houses on the shore. Nada. No pollution either. Nothing but miles and miles of white sand, clear water and fresh ocean air. Sigh.
