One of the things I love to do is take leftovers and get another meal or two out of them...eg ham then ham sandwiches, ham n beans, etc.
The other nite I made a big kettle of "stuffed peppers" and made extra meatballs to cook along with the peppers...saved the leftovers and the tomato juice broth and meatballs in fridge. Next nite had pizza and bread stix from local pizza joint...tonite mashed up leftover meatballs in tomato broth, making meat sauce to use in homemade lasagna, served with leftover bread stix...course this requires liking italian two or three nites in a row
