I was searching the web for ideas to use up about a half carton of sour cream, when I came upon this. Yummy!!

Blueberries (or strawberries or raspberries or any combination)
A heaping teaspoon of sour cream
teaspoon of brown sugar

roseanne, your op brought memories flooding back to me ~ that was my dad's all-time favorite dessert [his preference was strawberries] ~ well, one of his two favorites ~ his other favorite was layering thin chocolate wafers with fresh real whipped cream in a loaf pan [4 or 5 layers, starting with the wafers and ending with whipped cream] and then freezing it until firmly set ~

One of my own new faves for lunch or snacks or 'just because' is Greek vanilla yogurt with a handful of berries [my preference is raspberries, but strawberries and blueberries are good too], and a handful of granola or some brown sugar sprinkled on top ~

Glad I could bring back some good memories for you. I love raspberries too.

I baked some brownies on Thursday. My favorite fudgy recipe from the cocoa tin, but just 1/2 recipe. Otherwise I eat too many. lol.

I absolutely love chocolate covered blueberries, so I'm going to try blueberry brownies next time, but shhhh, don't tell hubby. :angel Since he never really pays attention when I'm baking, I'll get him to try them before I tell.

I tried the plain greek yogurt with raspberries and blueberries. Since both of the fruits were slightly tart, I didn't like it until I added a little brown sugar. I have a demanding sweet tooth. I may try the vanilla next.

I prefer it to the sour cream too. :) I just had to use up the rest of the sour cream first. lol

Another thing I'm trying for the health benefits. Green tea. I absolutely have to add sweetener or honey and a little skim milk to make it palatable. :b I prefer the honey.
