I LOVE sweet potatoes, any way they are prepared and have been impressed with the fries that I've gotten at fast food places (A&W the best!) and restaurants. The dip they serve is spicy and perfectly offsets the sweetness. I've looked for recipes for the dip, which seem to be way too complicated. Last week I bought my own frozen sweet potato fries and tried something. Mayo with some Frank's hot sauce. Delicious, even if it's not that healthy. Just a tiny bit with each fry is absolutely divine.
I figure the health benefits of the sweet potato balances the unhealthy mayo, although we do use olive oil mayo.
Actually, I'm not that stupid, but it helps me deal with the minor guilt.
