The first is great, because my veggie-phobic hubby like them! lol

Stir fried Green Beans

1 (or however many you need) can of cut (not french style) green beans
1 tbs olive oil
1tbs butter  (both of those adjusted according to the amount of beans)
1 clove of garlic (or more, to taste) pressed or chopped finely.

edited to add: oops, I forgot the lemon juice.Image About the amount in 1/2 lemon.

Heat butter and olive oil over medium heat, add garlic and green beans. Cook, stirring frequently, until....well.....done.Image  My daughter doesn't time it and usually just goes by how it "looks" and until the green beans become almost french style-looking.

Roast French Dip Sandwiches

1 chuck roast (four pounds or so)
2/3 cup of beer (drink the rest of the bottle/canImage)
1 package of brown gravy
1 package of dry italian dressing mix (can't find that here, so must make my own...Image)

Throw it all in a crock pot and cook approx. 15 hours on low. Shread the beef and return to crock pot for a while, until it absorbs most of the moisture. Serve on buns of any kind (sub or hogie are best) with provalone or whatever floats your boat. I prefer the buns toasted and the cheese melted.
Delicious!!

So, I'm making the roast today. Had to make my own Italian dressing mix, so I'll let you know how that works out, lol.

LOL oskar, I forgot. Not the oil or lemon juice, because you just use the dry ingredients. IOW, the spices/herbs. It was good, but I think I needed to use more brown gravy mix. I'll be tweeking every time I make it. We added bbq sauce to the leftovers and it was really good too.

Edited because I forgot the measurments for another one I wanted to post, LOL Image
