Bfly and Jim, I wish you both every happinesss possible. No event is complete without music. As im not really a close friend or relation, I would like to offer to you both, some musical selections for the Ceremony and the Reception. Being a person with an insatiable love of fine lyrics, and I believe some talent at picking appropriately profound music choices to speak volumes. Your music should be special and particular to you two, not some over used wedding music. To give you some idea of how i think, here are a couple i would suggest, if I am so empowered by you to work on this part of the wedding. This seems perfect for the first dance of the rest of your joined lives.

now here is one perfect for the ceremony either when you walk down the aisle or possibly back up the aisle at the end

K.D. Lang - Once In A While

BEP, there's a message somewhere from jim that they will be gone this weekend ~ just don't want you to get annoyed/aggravated/sad if they don't respond for a couple of days ~

I think this video is appropriate for a wedding - Faith Hill's "This Kiss":

We're not leaving until morning, Sooz.  Love the Riverdance music.  Maybe I can get a few dealcoholized beers under my belt at the reception and give it a go.

We'll be leaving in a couple of hours to take the ferry (and Jims truck!) to Victoria! This is amazing to me personally as I've never been on the ferry or ocean for that matter, and my first visit to the Island. I can honestly say that our real life romance is as exciting and fun (and more) as our cyber relationshipImage Will definately take and post picturesImage

Have a great weekend!!
Love you guys! xo..

That "Let's Do It" song has an interesting history.  Apparently it was not always "politically correct".

So that everyone knows, our goal is to create a VoC playlist so that everyone in attendance can just click on it and we'll all be hearing the same music at the same time ~ so keep these suggestions and "musts" coming ~ we have an ever increasing list of "goals" ~ Image

We are actually considering this one for a first dance. It reminds both of us of our cyber relationship where we lived thousands of miles apart..but could sleep together in our dreamsImage

Good job, Cannalee!  I tried to find the "Rest of My Life" song to put with my proposal but I kept getting it mixed up with "Last Waltz".  We may use it now as our first dance.
